Chase Clayton is a criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor.  Chase began his career in 2010 working for the legendary criminal defense lawyer Richard "Racehorse" Haynes.  Chase then worked as a prosecutor in the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office for several years and he was eventually promoted to Criminal Division Chief.  While at the District Attorney's Office, Chase learned the prosecution perspective and prosecuted a wide range of misdemeanors and felonies.  Due to his experience, he was asked to teach officers in various areas of the law and criminal procedure.

Eventually, Chase left to open his own firm where he focuses primarily on defending those accused of serious felony offenses.  Chase has experience in jury trials, both as a prosecutor and as a defense attorney, ranging from DWI to capital murder, sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault.

Chase is board certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  According to the Texas Board of Legalization's website, out of 110,000 lawyers licensed to practice law in Texas, only 6,900 are board certified.
